2007 Redline 925
I purchased this bike in late January, 2007 at Geneva Bicycle Center. I had been wanting a single speed/fixed bicycle and this bicycle received such good reviews, I took the plunge and ordered one without a test ride. I find this bike to be comfortable, nimble enough for city riding, yet stable enough for heading down the road for miles. The mustache bars have a steeper bend than the Nitto bars, which I have on my Bridgestone. My one initial disappointment was the use of thinner tires than came stock the previous year. The Kenda Cosmos have been fine tires, but I think the 700×30 IRC tires would have been perfect. I rode this bike as a single for about 2 months. I switched the bicycle to fixed in April 2007, and it remains such to date. I have really fallen in love with riding fixed. I ride this bike for the majority of my trips around town. Thus far, this bicycle has proven to be a great bicycle for the dollar.
