1992 Bridgestone XO-1

Submitted by phdjgee on Sat, 11/29/2008 - 16:32

I bought this bike on Ebay in February 2004. Like many bike fanatics, I had always dreamt of owning an XO-1. When it became a possibility, I jumped to bid on it. The bike came with a touring setup that did not fit together very well. I change things around to correct some drivetrain issues, and now everything runs perfectly smooth. This is a such a great bicycle and people often have positive comments for it. It has quite the reputation. The setup is in keeping with the heritage of this bicycle, although for the most part, is from a much earlier vintage than the bike itself. I like the way the classic parts compliments the tradition of the XO-1.
